As I return home from BlogHer12 I wonder what that smell is in my house (only to later find the entire bowl of fruit from our co-op completely molded. I guess that little note to give fruit twice a day was overlooked) but… I’m also buzzing with ideas and “to do” lists. My blog will be treated to some much needed housekeeping in the next couple weeks and I have many notes to go through and apply. I am also trying to work through this fog of sleep deprivation. I got approximately 12 hours of sleep the three days I was in NY and I’m suffering for it! The conference was crowded, the food left something to be desired for those trying to eat the least bit healthy (forget about those with gluten or dairy allergies), they were totally unprepared for how many bloggers wanted to see Martha Stewart speak at Friday’s key note lunch, AND a storm on Sunday left many bloggers stranded in NY for another night. But, when asked what I thought of the conference, I could hardly remember these things under the shadow of my real experience. What stood out to me was all the information I gleamed from the many sessions, the deep connections I felt from the sometimes very brief conversations with other bloggers, and the feelings of support, encouragement and camaraderie. What an amazing group of ladies! I will also never forget hearing Kaite Couric speak at Saturday’s key note lunch. Everything out of this woman’s mouth was engaging and inspiring – talk about charisma!
I wanted to share with you some of the wonderful women I got a chance to visit with this weekend. The best way to do this is to share their blogs with you (in no particular order).

Did I seriously leave you off my list my dear? You are completely unforgettable! I must have gotten your card mixed up somewhere because I added names by the cards I had. You will be added as soon as I get to my computer! Hugs!
Sob! sniff. How could you forget the woman sitting next to you? Great post, and it was truly lovely to meet you (and here about your amazing nursing experiences!). Take care!
Apparently I danced RIGHT NEXT TO YOU at Sparklecorn and never introduced myself!! DOH! So sorry! I’m sure we’ll talk more on FB and meet IRL soon
Sometimes dancing must override talking so I can see how this would happen.
nice to “meet” you! I just skimmed your toddler toothpaste post and must go back for more when time permits. I’m loving all the blogs I’ve been introduced to through BlogHer!
